Hope they don't ignore the numbers.

Assuming they are from a representative balance of stadium goers, they are quite telling.

I personally don't really have many issues with the place, (am I lucky or easily pleased?...) but clearly a lot of people do, so they should at least do due diligence on these results.

I'd say none of those things will happen Bom unfortunately.

Actually the train one is most likely.

Re: Supporter survey results (c&p claret and hugh)
It is a shame that they will ignore the survey and just say that their own investigations have shown that 95% of fans are happy and the stadium exceeded their expectations.

I still think that the stadium could be superb but it will take a shit load of further investment to make it that way. It's unfortunate that it will take new owners to get to this stage as ours have done the move on the cheap and will still reap huge rewards.

A few changes that would be a good start to improving the place:

* The roof needs extending again and facing downwards at the end as it is as good as useless at the moment.

*They could just do rectangular seating areas instead of curved in the lower tiers of 3 stands to get the fans a lot closer to the pitch, especially in the middle and also go back a bit further to get the upper and lower tiers closer to each other like the East. It would probably be cheaper and quicker to construct each time as well.

* The walk seems only as far as when I used to walk to East Ham but with those fucking lolly pop divs and then filtering people into tight areas using barriers makes the walk a massive chore and pisses people off. The barriers end up getting pushed over anyway.

* The overhead trains have been a joke all season. Not much the club can do here but it would make the experience a lot better if I didn't have to go past Upton Park on the way and add an extra 30 minutes to my journey every other weekend.

* The prices for food and drink need to come down and competition from independent outlets on the approach needs to happen. What is it at the moment £8 for a burger and £5 for a beer

numbers sold doesnt really matter. they'll still report every game as a sell out. even the leicester game was, however you can see white seats everywhere on motd!

Every single away game is better than every single home game.

Let the board, and its sycophants, pick the bones out of that one as we certainly don't win every away game.

I can't wait to see how many STs there are next year.

Someone is going to end up with egg on their face but I'm not sure who that is.

Fortunately this doesn't effect my KODI experience where the seat, view, food, atmosphere and travel are all excellent

I signed up on the so called 55k list, like most that was before the season started and I had been several times to the whirlpool athletics arena.

As others have said, what was the point of moving unless to compete and we have gone backwards in so many ways as the survey points out. Until the owners reinvest the massively increased profits made by the loyal fan base heavily into the team to compete, they are showing their true colours as vulture capitalists, hence can stick their ticket. I will come back when they done the above or have taken their huge profits, hopefully sooner than later.

Deano (and Sean)

I have cat 1 seats right at back of upper east. They're awful in terms of distance and atmosphere. So basically the experience is good in some if the expensive seats. That's not a good claim. What about the other 90% of seats?

Haha Brady-esque SPIN on every answer.

P.s. for the catering question there wasn't a 'I couldn't give a flying fuck about the quality of catering you cunt' option so just tucked average. It might well be a vast improvement, but it's still irrelevant

To be fair that is no shock... everyone I know preferred the BG to the OS... MATE told us at Football on Sunday he is jacking it in... think the final straw was him taking 2.5 hours to get back to Leigh ... that's obviously after the other shit thrown in... lot of unhappy punters out there that this idiotic happy clapper board are totally oblivious to.... never mind record ST uptakes eh??
